TJM Properties is a property management company, established in 1979. Since then, TJM and its affiliates have acquired, managed, brokered, and redeveloped real estate throughout the eastern United States (over 900 properties), with dwellings that range from suburban single-family homes to high-rise buildings around downtown cityscapes.

One of these properties is the Claridge Hotel, a 500-room resort hotel located on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ. While The Claridge is a historic fixture in the city, it was acquired in 2014 by TJM and updated to meet the needs of the modern leisure client, with several food and beverage outlets, an indoor/outdoor rooftop bar, and three ballrooms that pay homage to the history of the venue.

In 2014, TJM requested the services of EFS Networks for a number of capital projects. The EFS team documented the property and assumed its IT components, including rewiring the hotel and building its internal network. EFS was responsible for hiring and training in-house IT resources that balanced the work performed by outsourced vendors. Significant work was also done to revamp the hotel’s security cameras, with hundreds of new units installed.

In addition to IT services, EFS partnered with TJM in the overall management and update of the property, including the construction of the 360-degree-view rooftop bar, and the modernized event center, with capacity to hold five different events simultaneously.

The success of the Claridge development gave TJM the confidence to allow EFS to manage similar projects with its new properties as they were acquired.
